Why visit
A Bronze Age cairn sits on a ledge at the northwest end of the highest point of a tall rock outcrop, about 200 metres east of the Pori–Parkano railway. It has been partly destroyed, and some stones were rolled down off the rock.
Look for: Originally round or oval, the cairn measures about 5.3 x 6 x 0.5 metres. A ring structure shows along its northwest edge, and the stones are 20–70 cm across.
About this site
Röykkiö sijaitsee Pori-Parkano -radasta noin 200 m itään korkean kallion korkeimman kohdan luoteispäässä olevalla kielekkeellä. Röykkiötä on osittain tuhottu. Osa kivistä on vieritetty alas kalliolta. Röykkiö on ollut alunperin pyöreä tai soikea. Sen koko on noin 5,3 x 6 x 0,5 m. Kivien halkaisijat ovat 20 - 70 cm. Röykkiön luoteisreunassa on näkyvissä kehärakennetta. Kohdetta ei tarkastettu vuoden 1996 inventoinnin yhteydessä.
