Vesilahden kirkko

Wooden church, long church. The ensemble formed by Vesilahti's current wooden church, the old stone sacristy, the cemetery, and the bell tower is situated along the old main road running through the church village. Vesilahti church is in the form of a long church rectangular with angular ends, to which lower transept arms attach.

The crossing is highlighted by a small flèche. The straight-ended windows are placed in two tiers. The painted decoration of the church hall, covered by a wooden vault, is from the 1840s. The church's medieval furnishings include a crucifix from the 1420s. The pulpit is from the 17th century and the altarpiece Jesus in Gethsemane by an unknown artist is from the 19th century.

Next to the current church is a medieval stone sacristy of the once-unfinished earlier church. On the other side of the road is the bell tower from 1782 (M. Lajander). The old churchyard wall was built in 1839 from stonework of the old stone church. Nearby is the new cemetery from the 1880s. The wooden blessing chapel with access to the cemetery is from the same era.
