Why visit
In the northeast corner of little Vähäjärvi, a kilometre east of Ilmoilanselkä, stands a small but very steep-sided rocky knoll. There are remains of a fortification along one of its flanks.
Look for: Look for the fortification along one flank of the knoll. At the gateway the rampart is five metres wide, narrowing in both directions from there.
About this site
Myllymäen talon maalla, talosta noin 300 m lounaaseen, Ilmoilanselästä noin kilometri itään, pienen Vähäjärven koillisosassa on linnavuori. Paikka on pienehkö, erittäin jyrkkäseinäinen kallionnyppylä, jonka yhdellä sivustalla on jäänteitä varustuksesta. Portin kohdalla valli on 5 metriä leveä, mutta se kapenee siitä molempiin suuntiin.
