Why visit
Southeast of Koiralampi, beside the Päivärinne house, the field edge forms a terrace of fine sand where quartz (KM 25730) and charcoal have been found; the field has partly destroyed the dwelling site.
Look for: About 50 metres northwest of the find spot, at the north side of a shed, an East Karelian gouge came to light; it is held in the collections of Haapalahti school.
About this site
Kohde sijaitsee Tynkkylänjoella, Koiralammen kaakkoispuolella, Päivärinteen talon koillis- tai itäpuolella, pellon laidalla, jossa on terassimainen muodostuma ja hienoa hiekkaa. Paikalta on löytynyt kvartsia (KM 25730) ja löytökohdassa on havaittu hiiliä. Löytökohdasta noin 50 m luoteeseen, vajan pohjoislaidalta on löytynyt itäkarjalainen kourutaltta (Haapalahden koulun kokoelmissa). Pelto on osaksi tuhonnut asuinpaikkaa.
