Why visit
On a bank rising out of the mire lies a Stone Age dwelling site. Two test pits dug in the 2012 survey yielded quartz and burnt bone, and the site has survived intact.
Look for: From the top of the bank, look for the flat, slightly undulating terrace between the slope rising to the southeast and a gentler bank.
About this site
Inventoinnin 2012 mukaan suosta kohoavan törmän päälle tehdyistä kahdesta koekuopasta on saatu talteen asuinpaikkalöytöinä kvartsia ja palanutta luuta. Paikalla on laakea ja hieman kumpuileva tasanne kaakossa nousevan rinteen ja loivan törmän välillä. Paikan rajaus on topografian perusteella tehty arvio. Paikka on ehjä.
