Why visit
Liperi's neo-Gothic long-church is built of bare red brick and crowned by a tall octagonal tower. Step into the three-aisled hall beneath its timber ceiling.
Look for: Pause at the altarpiece: Berndt Godenhjelm's The Crucified, painted in 1842. Notice too the short transepts branching from the nave's gable ends, which serve as stairwells.

Liperin uusgoottilainen kirkko on peittämättömästä punatiilestä rakennettu tornillinen pitkäkirkko. Runkohuoneen päädyistä erkanevat lyhyet poikkisakarat, jotka toimivat porrashuoneina. Korkea torni on kahdeksankulmainen. Kirkkosali on kolmilaivainen. Sisäkatto on puurakenteinen. Alttaritaulu on Berndt Godenhjelmin 1842 maalaama Ristiinnaulittu.
