Why visit

A test pit dug into a spur of the ancient shoreline bank held abundant burnt bone. Going by the topography the site is a small one, but it is entirely intact.

Look for: Look for the spur of the old shoreline bank and the worn, shallow depression-like patch on it. The Rajapolku dwelling site lies to the southwest, on a lower shoreline bank.

About this site

Inventoinnin 2012 mukaan paikalla on muinainen rantatörmä, jonka niemekkeessä on matalan painanteen tapainen "kulunut" kohta. Siihen tehdyssä koekuopassa oli runsaasti palanutta luuta. Paikka on topografian perusteella varsin suppea. Paikka on täysin ehjä. Asuinpaikka sijaitsee Rajapolku-nimisen asuinpaikan koillispuolella, sitä ylemmällä rantatörmällä.
