Why visit
Tradition holds that the house still stood here at the end of the 1800s; nothing more precise is known. The path running past the ruins was said to be an age-old thoroughfare, and archaeologically the whole is well preserved.
Look for: South of the path lies the house foundation, north of it the base of a cattle shed; further off at the field edge are the remains of a well.
About this site
Paikalla on rakennuksen pohjia. Kyseessä on talon paikka joka perimätiedon Tet-risuon isännän mukaan) mukaan olisi ollut vielä 1800-luvun lopulla pystyssä. Tarkempaa tietoa ei ole. Raunioiden ohi kulkeva polku on kuulemma ollut "ikiaikainen" kulkuväylä. Paikalla on talonperusta polun eteläpuolella ja karjasuojan perusta polun pohjoispuolella ja kauempana pellon laidalla kaivon jäännös.
Paikka on tarkemmin tuntemattoman yksittäistalon jäänne, ilmeisesti 1800-luvulta. Arkeologisessa mielessä kyseessä on hyvin säilynyt kokonaisuus.
