Why visit
A metal detector survey in July 2021 turned up an iron triangular pendant 8 cm down in the sandy soil of the heath forest, a Late Iron Age form found mainly in northern Fennoscandia. In summer 2022 a dwelling site was confirmed here.
Look for: The ground is sandy heath forest. The approximate find spot of a piece of iron slag is recorded as a sub-site, and the slag points to iron making here as well.

Metallinetsinnässä on heinäkuussa 2021 löytynyt kangasmetsästä 8 cm syvyydestä hiekkamaasta rautainen kolmioriipus (lähinnä pohjoisessa Fennoskandiassa essintyvä myöhäisrautakautinen esinemuoto). Alakohteeksi on merkitty rautakuonankappaleen viitteellinen löytöpaikka. Kohde tarkastettiin kesällä 2022 ja paikalta todettiin asuinpaikka. Rautakuona viittaa myös raudanvalmistuspaikkaan.
