Why visit

On the east bank of the Porvoonjoki, on a fairly steep slope down to the river, lies a Stone Age dwelling site that sits partly in field and partly in forest. The finds include a Suomusjärvi-type axe, a gouge and a fragment of a slate spearhead.

Look for: The ground falls fairly steeply towards the river. The same slope has yielded chisels, adzes, whetstones, flint flakes, hammerstones, and burnt bone and clay.

Asuinpaikka sijaitsee Porvoonjoen itärannalla melko jyrkästi Porvoonjokeen viettävässä rinteessä, sekä pellolla että metsässä. Löydöt kourutaltta, liuskekeihäänkärjen katkelma, hioin, hioimen kappaleita, talttoja, poikkikirveitä, alkeellisten kirveitten teelmiä, Suomusjärven tyypin kirves, kiviesineitä ja niitten katkelmia, pii-iskoksia, palanutta luuta, iskukiviä ja palanutta savea.
