Why visit
Crofts stood here at the end of the 1700s. The forest is very stony, but on the gentle slope a cleared yard opens up, with an L-shaped building at its centre.
Look for: The wall line shows in places, built of stone. Beside it lie two root-cellar remains; the yard holds a square pit, and a clearance cairn sits at the field edge.
About this site
Alueella oli 1700-luvun lopulla torppia. Metsäalue on erittäin kivinen, mutta loivasta rinteestä löytyy raivattu pihapiiri. Tämän keskellä on L:n muotoinen rakennus, jossa on paikoin kivistä rakennettu seinälinja nähtävissä. Vieressä on kaksi maakellarin jäännöstä. Pohjoisempana avokallion juurella on matala suorakaiteen muotoinen pohja. Pihapiirissä on myös neliömäinen kuoppa ja pellon reunassa raivausröykkiö.
