Why visit
Östersundom's wooden chapel church is an octagonal long church with bevelled gables, crowned by a small tower above the western end. Inside, an angular timber vault spans the nave.
Look for: Pause before the altarpiece: Hjördis Nyberg's Jesus Stilling the Storm, painted in 1934.

Puukirkko, kahdeksankulmainen pitkäkirkko. Östersundomin puinen kappelikirkko on muodoltaan päädyistään viistetty pitkäkirkko, jonka runkohuoneeseen liittyy koillisessa sakaristo ja länsipäädyssä eteishuone. Tämän yllä kohoaa pieni torni. Kirkkosalin kattaa särmikäs puuholvaus. Alttaritaulu on Hjördis Nybergin Jeesus tyynnyttää myrskyn vuodelta 1934.
