Why visit
In the eastern part of Puistolanniemi, west of Majakkalahti, lies powder cellar no. 83. The cellar measures 11 by 20 metres, and in 1980 the north gable wall stood 2-3 courses of stone high.
Look for: The 2007 survey found the cellar collapsed, with only its stone footing left. The east side has been repaired so that the ventilation openings were closed up.
About this site
Ruutikellari n:o 83 sijaitsee Puistolanniemen itäosassa, Majakkalahden länsipuolella. Kellarin koko on 11 x 20 m. Sen itäsivua on korjattu siten, että tuuletusaukot ovat menneet umpeen. Pohjoispäädyn seinää oli pystyssä v. 1980 2 - 3 kivirivin korkeudelta. Myös eteläpäädyssä seinää oli osittain pystyssä. Vuoden 2007 inventoinnissa havaittiin, että ruutikellari on sortunut ja siitä on jäljellä enää kivijalka.
