Why visit
On the summit of Kokkovuori, on solid bedrock, four stones form a circle roughly three metres across. The structure looks clearly man-made, but it is undated.
Look for: The stone circle sits about ten metres northeast of the path crossing the hill. The stones measure some 0.5 by 1 metre and stand 0.3 metres high, showing up fairly well among the dwarf shrubs.
About this site
Kohde sijaitsee Kokkovuoren laella kovalla kalliopohjalla, noin kymmenen metriä vuoren yli kulkevasta polusta koilliseen. Kyseessä on neljän kiven muodostama ympyrä, jonka halkaisija on noin kolme metriä. Kivet ovat kooltaan noin 0,5 x 1 m ja korkeudeltaan noin 0,3 metriä. Kivikehä erottuu melko hyvin varvikon seasta. Rakenne vaikuttaa selvästi ihmisen tekemältä.
