Why visit
The cairn area lies on a gentle terrace opening to the south, with rocky ground on its northern side. The forest here was felled years ago, and the soil preparation done at the time partly laid bare the low cairns.
Look for: The cairns are roughly 2–5 metres across, on moraine soil. Some of them were built up against a rock outcrop or a larger boulder.
About this site
Röykkiöalue on etelään päin avautuvalla loivalla terassilla. Sen pohjoispuolella on kallioalue. Metsä on hakattu kohteesta jo vuosia sitten ja maanpintaa on tuolloin muokattu jonkin verran. Maanmuokkaus on aikanaan osin palajastanut matalat röykkiöit. Maaperä on moreenia. Röykkiöt ovat halkaisijaltaan n. 2-5 metriä. Osa on koottu kalliopaljastuman tai isomman kiven viereen.
