Stone church, medieval. Pyhtää church built in the 1460s was erected and vaulted during one and the same building phase. During the Great Power period, in 1671, the church's weapon house was converted into a burial chapel for the Creutz family. In the late 18th century the chapel was returned to a vestibule.
