The well-preserved Liminka church is a tall and narrow-armed cruciform church with a shallow saddle roof and an octagonal lantern rising from the attic at the crossing. The yellow-painted walls are articulated by wide pilasters and windows in two tiers. The church hall has whitewashed log walls, curved plank vaults, and an intermediate ceiling dome at the crossing. The altar furnishing with Ionic columns is exceptionally impressive. The altar and gallery railings are of baluster construction. The pulpit from the previous church, dated 1727, was carved by Johan Kyntzell from Kokkola and painted by Olof Ekelund from Vaasa. The bell tower is located in the old churchyard west of the church.
